Vandals Oil Memorial Drive at KU Campus
Police at Kansas University reported vandals poured oil from two flare pots on a 20 by 50 foot Memorial Drive area late Friday night. A 50 pound can of solid popcorn oil was found nearby and may have been intended to burn or slick the road. Open to any Douglas County student with displays on any scientific subject. Grades 10 to 12 eligible for national competition. national entries must be individuals. No dangerous or harmful exhibits. All 110 volt wiring must be approved and cord length specified. Junior and Senior divisions limited to three by four feet.
