KU policy protects LGBT workers in university
KU Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little reaffirmed the university’s nondiscrimination policy protecting LGBT students and employees across all campuses. The memo notes the policy remains intact despite Gov Brownback rescinding a state executive order that extended protections for sexual orientation and gender identity. The policy bans discrimination based on race, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, and other factors in programs and activities.
