KU graduate starts Cafetin micromill in Costa Rica
KU graduate Tim O'Brien returns to San Martin Costa Rica after Peace Corps and a government career to found Cafetin, a micro coffee mill sourcing beans from 25 producers. The operation, selling mainly to Japan and Portland roasters, pays fair prices and funds local projects, including a playground for San Martin children.
