American aid worker freed after Chechnya captivity
Kenneth Gluck, 38, an American aid worker for Doctors Without Borders, was released unharmed after nearly a month in rebel Chechnya. The Federal Security Service said the Saturday night rescue occurred during the Russian campaign against rebels. Gluck was abducted January 9 near Stariye Atagi while delivering aid. Other colleagues escaped.
