Student Is Robbed At Fieldhouse Lot
Armed robbery on a KU campus parking lot near Allen Fieldhouse occurred Friday about 10 p.m. Darrell D. Nelson, a graduate student from Topeka, reported two men forced him to unlock his car and enter the vehicle, taking a watch ring cash and clothing totaling about 115 dollars plus 12 dollars, then fled. Police report additional local break ins and damage incidents in Lawrence.

Two Men Hurt In Accident Near Eudora
James J. Fitzgerald 46 and Larry G. Ferguson 29 both of Ottawa sustained bruises and cuts after Fitzgerald lost control of his southbound car eight miles south of Eudora at 8 30 am. The pair planned to seek treatment at Ransom Hospital. The damage was minor and not believed serious.
