Lawrence Couple Announces May 5 Wedding Date
Mr and Mrs James Patti announce the engagement of their daughter Valerie Ann Patti to Rick Morris son of Mr and Mrs Evert Morris. Both are 1971 Lawrence High School graduates. Valerie employed by Agency Records Control while Rick serves in the Air Force. Their wedding is planned for May 5.

Terpsichore to Perform at LHS East Varsity Game
The Terpsichore girls dance and drill group from Lawrence High will perform at halftime of the LHS East versus Shawnee Mission East basketball game Friday. They have also appeared at other LHS events this season and performed at Kansas University during a basketball halftime. The East varsity game starts about 8 p.m., following a 6:30 p.m. junior varsity tip.
