Former Defense Dept employee admits document thefts
Arthur Rogers Roddey a 38 year old Falls Church Virginia man and former Defense Department employee faced two counts of theft of government property and three counts of fraud after allegedly removing a top secret tape recorder and about 200 documents from the Pentagon. Roddey told reporters he took papers to bring to the National Security Council though FBI said the case involves no espionage. He was arraigned before U S Commissioner Henry W Kirkland and awaited possible indictment by a federal grand jury in Alexandria Virginia.
