Schools consider Budget Advisory Committee to curb costs
The district plans a Budget Advisory Committee with educated professionals and others to advise administrators and the school board on efficient use of scarce revenues. In January, board members will get recommendations from the Central and East Lawrence Elementary School Consolidation Working Group, formed to reduce the six elementary schools Cordley Hillcrest Kennedy New York Pinckney and Sun.
