Detroit flight 253 incident echoes shoe bomber tale
A passenger on Delta Flight 253 from Nigeria to Detroit attempted to align with al Qaida. He was subdued as the plane neared Detroit, eight flight attendants and three pilots aboard, the suspect burned and handcuffed to a stretcher. Obama was briefed as security tightened nationwide.
