Missouri Tigers Top Kansas Jayhawks 48 39 in Kansas City

Missouri defeated Kansas 48 to 39 at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City. Kansas Aggies beat Nebraska 49 to 46 in the opening game. Jayhawkers struggled from the field and free throw line while Gene Kurash led Missouri with 16 points. The Mount Oread five travel to Missouri January 6 for a Big Six clash in Columbia.
