Minnesotan Marshall Kriesel, 20, directed the 11 foot rocket at Naval Ordnance Test Station China Lake, claiming a successful test despite fins malfunction. The crude liquid propulsion system performed well and the flight lasted seven seconds, rising about 2000 feet. Kriesel plans further analysis during Christmas vacation with high speed cameras. Madison Woman Killed and Mother Seriously Hurt
