Omaha Man Injured As Car Rolls Near Lawrence
Milford L. Marsh, 50, of Omaha, was injured Tuesday afternoon in a one car crash 3.6 miles west of Lawrence on U S 40. He suffered a broken leg, cuts and bruises and was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital in good condition. The car ran off the road, struck a utility pole and overturned after losing control on an uphill stretch while he had new snow tires. Damages were about 500 dollars.

Eudora Youth Shotself While Running Trap Lines
A 16 year old Eudora youth, Larry Dean Marcum, accidentally shot his left foot while wading to run trap lines. He slipped on a rock near four miles south and a half mile west of Eudora. the .22 rifle discharged, passing through the foot without breaking bones.
