Chapter 378 of the National Association of Retired Civil Employees elected officers for 1965 after a luncheon at the Little Banquet. Edward Griffin is president and Elmer Polson is vice president with Mrs. Marcella Arndt as secretary treasurer.
Veterans Aid holds a 10 a.m. Tuesday meeting at the Community Building. Last Tuesday members packed homemade cookies and candy with fresh fruit for Barracks No. 4 at the Wadsworth VA Center. Transportation was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Howard McConnell and others, including Mrs. Verna Cochran and Mrs. J. Underwood. Also traveling were Mrs. Oca Oxford, Mrs. Gertrude Anderson, Mrs. Bessie Davis, Mrs. J. S. Mill, and Miss Rebecca Wismer. Job's Daughters Bethel 48 will not meet Tuesday night.
Cub Scout Pack 3158 distributed Christmas gifts to parents at the December gathering held in the Police Fire Building. Santa Claus handed out candy canes. Freida Starkfleet donated decorated cakes for cake walks. Den 3 advanced color duties, and Den 10 led opening and closing songs. New Bobcats inducted: Jack Murphree, Rodney Davis, Matt Price, David Baker, Scott Smith, Lane Smith, and Larry.

Den awards include Rob ert Cherry Bear badge and gold arrow with two silver arrows plus a two year pin, Tommy Myers gold arrow under Wolf, Alan Proctor silver arrow under Wolf and one year pin. One year pins to Jerry Miller Mike Donoho Richard Harrison Dale Morganstern Jay Sanders Gleason Gregory. Two year pins to James Ellis Rodney Schimmell Terry Miller. C J Wempe received the denier and a one year pin and Jim Davis assistant denier and one year pin. Den mothers with one year pins Donna Miller Earlene Donoho. Two year pins to Wanda Cherry Vera Miller.
