County OKs 325000 grant process despite revenue doubts
Douglas County commissioners approved a plan to distribute 325000 next year for cultural and heritage conservation projects despite concerns from Commissioner Jim Flory about funding from property tax dollars and uncertainty in the 2013 budget and state funding. The grant cycle runs with March 15 applications, review by the Heritage Conservation Council, and final county approval around April 24.
