Ten Thousand Villages to Close Downtown Lawrence Store
Ten Thousand Villages, a nonprofit Fair Trade retailer at 835 Massachusetts St in Lawrence, will close by end of January after four years. Store manager Scott Stutler cites high downtown operating costs and insufficient profits while the nonprofit will continue promoting fair trade.
