Behavioral health campus plan trims crisis center size
The eight-bed crisis center is scaled to half the previously planned 40,000 square foot facility. The $200,000 ER unit remains, while the larger unit’s $16 million price was abandoned. Funds shift from LMH costs to other campus parts as housing tiers arise including a transitional home and a 10-unit long-term complex. Justice Matters and Kansas Appleseed urged separate bond referendums.
