A federal grand jury in Topeka indicted Matthew W. Headley 37 Canon City Colorado on one count of bank robbery for the Sept 5 2006 he allegedly robbed the U S Bank at 1807 West 23rd Street Lawrence He faces up to 20 years and 250000 fine if convicted Headley was arrested Sept 6 while traveling west on I 70 after a teller was forced to surrender cash Headley previously pled guilty in 1998 to robbing Taco John's and a local liquor store and was released from federal prison in 2007
