Severe Fall In Sibley Leaves William Jones Injured
William Jones alighted during a train stop near the depot in Sibley to walk when darkness fell. Crossing a sewer bridge he stepped off and plunged about eighteen feet. Onlookers found a deep forehead cut and skinned hands. He complained of back pain, a doctor was summoned and he was taken home. He was easier later in the day.
