Annan wins centennial Nobel Peace Prize at Oslo ceremony
U N Secretary General Kofi Annan accepted the Nobel Peace Prize with the United Nations for peace efforts and a call to fight poverty disease and ignorance. The award was shared with the U N as a whole and presented by the Norwegian Nobel Committee amid centennial ceremonies in Oslo and Stockholm.
