William Ray Green Sr., founder and owner of Green Bros Hardware at 633 Mass St, dies at Lawrence Memorial Hospital aged 76. Funeral set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey Funeral Home with Masonic services. Survived by two sons, a daughter, sister, and three grandchildren. Green co founded the store 46 years ago with brother Albert, who died in 1960. He was born February 22, 1886 in Circleville, Kansas and lived in town about 70 years. He belonged to Lawrence Lodge No. 6 AF and AM and the Scottish Rite.
