Douglas County Commissioner Robert Neis, 54, is listed in fairly good condition at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was hospitalized Saturday night with chest pains and high blood pressure after family feared a heart attack. Neis, a Eudora farmer, was treated in the ICU and then moved to recovery.
