Kansas State dominates early to beat Kansas 31 10
Kansas State raced to a 31 10 lead in the first 15 10, piling up 149 yards on 13 plays while KU managed 29 yards on nearly twice as many snaps. The Wildcats stifled Kansas State’s offense with a strong run defense and two long passing touchdowns after faking a run. KU turnovers doomed any comeback as Charlie Weis’s team finished the 2013 season with six miscues and only two takeaways. Kansas AD supports Weis despite heavy loss at Memorial Stadium.
