Budget plan trims levy as 2025 spend details emerge

The 2025 budget outlines 2.9 million for Fire Medical Station 6/7 expansions and ambulance replacement, 3 million for a compensation study, 2 million for market pay, plus funding for housing, health programs, and other departments. Consolidated Fire District No. 1 would keep a 5.5 mill levy with 2.1 million total, while contracts for inmate medical services shift to Turn Key Health Clinics. The agenda includes a JLEC remodel, a new sheriff contract, a 25th anniversary proclamation, and a 911 overflow memorandum with Ford County.
