Man Named George Bruce Arrested for Stealing Watch

Interurban worker dies after limb severed near Kent
Alfred J. Lee of Bonner Springs, married man with a month old child, died after his right leg was severed by a rope on an interurban work train near Kent Saturday. He was taken to Simmons hospital in Lawrence and died around midnight. The accident occurred as a switch was being set and a rope strand entangled him. Lee had mental distress earlier, and his coworkers heard his cries. Interurban superintendent Kings O. S. Lamb reported the incident.
