Dust Lady Marcy Borders dies of stomach cancer
Marcy Borders known as the Dust Lady from the 9/11 attacks died at 42 from stomach cancer. The Jersey Journal notes she was photographed by Stan Honda on 9/11 while fleeing the World Trade Center collapse. Borders, a Bayonne, New Jersey mother of two, battled mood issues after the attacks and sought rehab in 2011. Mayor Bill de Blasio mourned her loss on social media.
