Man whose house burned down faces drug charges
Donald L. Mellenbruch, 60, of Lawrence, saw his East Lawrence home destroyed by an electrical fire on June 3. He was arrested on July 2 and charged in Douglas County District Court with four felonies including possession with intent to distribute marijuana and oxycodone. The fire was ruled accidental and electrical in origin.
