Missing witness resurfaces in Motel 6 murder trial
In Douglas County District Court on Tuesday the Motel 6 murder case saw the return of a key witness, Tanner Marlow, 21, who had been missing for months and feared dead by his father. Prosecutor CJ Rieg announced the witness appeared in Emporia then traveled to Lawrence, joining the jury after jurors were excused for discussions with Judge Sally Pokorny.

Officials say KanCare deal will be more enforceable and costly
