Anderson Brushes Aside Criticism on Pay Raises

Lawrence to Begin Orientation Week for 67 New Teachers
Sixty seven new teachers in the Lawrence public school system start orientation on Thursday with a 9 a.m. general session at Central Junior High School. Ransom Construction Co of Topeka bids 8900 as the apparent low bid on a concrete all purpose sport area for tennis basketball and other activities near Kansas University Templin and Lewis residence halls.
