The statement cites efforts and agreements with the American Bankers Association, notes expected legislative action in 1931, and warns that bank suits could hinder efforts to solve the bank tax problem. It references taxes already litigated in California and Minnesota and notes past refunds of about 4.5 million dollars in Kansas.
