Car pulled from river was stolen, authorities say
A 2010 Chevrolet Equinox reported stolen Aug 2 from Madison Set rural Missouri was later recovered from the Kansas River in Lawrence. Investigators say Sharron R. Dingledine, 26, of Columbia drove the car into the river to kill her two children, who were inside. The incident followed a theft also involving a Pontiac Grand Prix left at the scene.
