Army Cadet Douglas E. Higbie, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin G. Higbie, Route 2 Wellsville, finished six weeks of ROTC summer training at Ft. Riley. He studies at the University of Kansas Lawrence and attended Pittsburg State Teachers College in Pittsburg Kan. Airman Third Class John R. Topping, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dick R. Topping Lawrence, graduated at Shepherd AFB Texas from the U S Air Force aircraft mechanics course and will be assigned to Fairchild AFB.
