Society Women Attend Luncheon at Lawrence Country Club
Topek a society gathering drew women from Shawnee and White Lakes clubs as 50 golfers played morning rounds. Gale Curtis of White Lakes topped 18 holes, with Tillie Becker, Wilma Beach, and Pauly Bysom sharing low scores in various flights. Afternoon bridge and canasta prizes went to multiple Lawrence and Shawnee members. The event featured golf table decorations by Clyde Brysem and Nancy Moore, birthday party for Betty Carel’s fourteenth, and a painting party by Alpha Phi at the chapter house.
