Phillipsburg August rodeo draws world champions and locals
The Phillipsburg rodeo welcomes past and present world champions and Kansas talent including Evan Jayne from Marseille who tied for bareback title with Chris Harris of Itasca. Rod Innes calls it a community event as Peyton Baldwin sold western gear from a mobile shop and cowboys prepared under the stands for the bareback ride. A bullfighter from Rio Vista, Greg Rumohr, entertained the crowd with near-misses and bold stunts.
