City transfers 250000 from reserve to fund transit
City commissioners on Tuesday night approved moving 250000 from the equipment reserve into the 2008 transit operations budget. A prior report stating 600000 was incorrect. the higher amount would have covered transit costs only if the 0.425 mill levy increase were eliminated. The budget kept the levy, reducing the needed reserve transfer.
