Little Rock Aug. 9 CPX Arkansas state police report Patrolman Add Schugg was held up and tied to a tree by two armed men about 15 miles from Little Rock after stopping a black 1940 Ford coupe to check its Texas license. Downtown chase ends with two youths in custody
At 7 45 a m in downtown Lawrence three youths in a 1941 Nash sedan stalled at Tth and Massachusetts. Officer Ralph Casteel chased one fugitive after a push and into an alley while apprehending the other two, Marion Chesterfield 19 and Steven Pasko 16 of Jacksonville Ind. The Missouri licensed car 111 492 is believed stolen. The third boy fled toward Topeka. the two charged youths are held for further inquiry.
