Power plant to get coal shipment begins for Jeffrey Center
The first coal delivery to the Jeffrey Energy Center near St. Marys Kansas arrives from northeast Wyoming aboard a 110 unit train. About 160 shipments of 11 000 tons each will arrive every other day until the plant’s first power unit starts next summer.
