The Geltch residence, built by A L Falkenberg Co of Kansas City, features modern design and a comprehensive plan with basement and deck. The Bayles home at 1647 Mississippi spans 35 by 42 feet, while the Harris home at 2146 New Hampshire is an eight room, 44 by 26 foot structure with three porches and full basement. A one and a half story five room dwelling replaces a fire-destroyed home on West Twenty-third, and additional Farr and Bussel projects advance on Twenty-third. The Irwins’ brick English design on East Twenty-third will be insulated and fronted with a cement slab.
