Applebee’s site torn down for car wash project
Construction crews demolished the former Applebee’s at Sixth and Monterey Way in west Lawrence on Tuesday. The site is slated to become a high tech car wash after final City Hall approvals reportedly were secured, with construction to begin after debris removal. Austin Davis, car wash owner operator, was on site confirming the approvals and start date.
