Rev Hull Wins Grant for Graduate Study
Rev. Donovan E. Hull formerly directed the Wesley Foundation at Kansas University is one of five Methodist ministers in the nation to receive a $1,000 award from the board of education of the Methodist Church. Two Hospitalized In City Traffic Incidents
Two people were hospitalized after traffic incidents Monday in the city. Ruth Garrett, 28, of 433 Tl. St., suffered bruises when her bicycle was struck in the Kroger lot at 9th and N.H. Streets. Evelyn Barnes, 36, of 2014 Miller Dr., was injured when her car rolled as her toddler son released the gear in a Dairyland lot. No serious injuries were reported. a three car crash at 10th and Maine caused extensive damage but no injuries. A separate two car collision on Highway K-10 near Eudora involved Richard D. Hamilton and John D. Taylor, each with $450 damage amid rainy conditions.

Munch Art Display At KU For One Month
Forty woodcuts etchings and lithographs by Edvard Munch will be on display at the Kansas University Museum of Art from Friday May 5 through commencement activities. An opening reception runs 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. May 5. Bret Waller notes the exhibit is a rare arrival for this region and marks the piece’s first local show, arranged with the Royal Norwegian Embassy cultural relations office.
