Tools theft probe at Perry Reservoir in Iowa
Oskaloosa sheriff investigators are probing a theft from the Delaware Park area of Perry Reservoir. About $1,066.74 in tools were taken from a large building on the park west of Perry Dam eight miles northwest of Perry. Loot includes a $225 radial arm saw a $230 chain saw a $70 two and one half horsepower motor two electric drills worth $62 a $50 saber saw $80 welding equipment and other metal and woodworking tools.

Two Plead Guilty On Drug Charge
OLATHE A Lawrence youth and Topeka man were sentenced and paroled for possession of narcotics by the Olathe Magistrate Court Tuesday. Michael Eugene Glass 18 of Lawrence and Thomas Hamilton Nash 23 of Topeka were sentenced to one year in county jail with a two year parole effective immediately. They pleaded guilty to the fourth count possession of d Lysergic acid and diethylamide. Other counts were dropped after an amended complaint. They were arraigned Tuesday, the preliminary hearing waived. They were arrested Jan 6 after a car stop near DeSoto on a routine traffic check.
