Elephants Run Loose as Circus Visits Yucca Valley
A Culpepper and Merriweather Circus elephant escaped its pen and wandered three blocks in Yucca Valley after a Thursday night performance. A ticket-taker was stepped on and may have a broken hip, per sheriff’s spokeswoman Anita Baker. Three horses also ran free briefly before being contained without further incidents.

Dinosaurs Footprints Found in Utah Backyard Draw Global Visitors
About 200 million years ago a herd of dinosaurs crossed Sheldon Johnsons Utah yard revealing 150 footprints across 10 by 3 foot blocks. Scientists say the prints offer a snapshot of early Jurassic life as Johnson and his wife guard the site for visitors and ponder a future dinosaur museum with local support.
