Lake County projects reach bids under new reorganization

The outgoing six member State Forestry Fish and Game Commission approved federal funding for the Douglas County State Lake project north of Baldwin and set bids after plans are prepared. They also funded a concrete dam repair at Logan County State Lake and authorized the Republic County refuge project. Contracts for Douglas County State Lake may be let in late June, with Republic County refuge bids possible later in summer.
