Knoxvillle AP Minnie Pearl and her husband Henry Cannon survived a single engine plane crash near Knoxville after engine trouble. Pearl spent the night in a hospital with abdominal soreness while Cannon reported no injuries. She credited Henry with steering them to safety and noted the landing was joltful but not on a runway.
