County Superintendent Harold Fisher will mail exam papers to six central locations as the first of the final examinations for eighth grade diplomas begins tomorrow. Tests cover social studies and agriculture with April 24 for the remaining papers, including language arts and arithmetic. 15 Million Sales Tax Tokens Issued for State Use
Topeka April 16 The state tax commission aims to have 15 million two mill sales tax tokens of certified Kansas zinc ready by June 1 when the two per cent tax takes effect. W G Fink, chairman, says only the two mill token will be produced slightly smaller than a ten cent piece. Distribution methods will be decided later. He estimates token cost at 1.65 dollars per thousand and notes machinery costs at the Hutchinson reformatory.
