Six Charged in Ghost Writing Case in New York

False Draft Card Racket Uncovered in Wichita
Police report a racket involving stolen or counterfeit draft cards among teens in Wichita. Detectives questioned two 17 year olds attempting to buy liquor. one carried a card with fake birth date and age. The teens paid 1.50 for the card and 10 for a stamped authentic card. Molestation Reported By a Mt Dread Coed
A Kansas University coed told campus police she was molested by an unknown man at about 10 p.m. Monday near Corbin Hall on 11th and La Streets. The assailant, described as college age with a blond crewcut, came up behind her then threw her to the ground before fleeing as bystanders approached. He was about 5-11 and 160 pounds, wearing grey slacks and a grey shirt or jacket.

Carpenters Chief Convicted on Contempt Charge
