Cellists honor KU professor with large memorial concert
Seventeen cellists will perform in Murphy Hall to honor Raymond Stuhl, KU’s first full time cello instructor who died in 1994. Eighteen former students including his first pupil will travel to Lawrence for the Sunday concert led by Warren Spencer. The event echoes Stuhl’s idea of a cello choir to unite players across ages and states.
