Luther P. Stover, former University student and prominent Lawrence military figure, died yesterday in Brownsville Texas where he had worked as an engineer for petroleum firms. The body will be taken to Tola for funeral services at 2 30 PM Thursday. Stover previously served as a Kan managua National Guard officer and a cavalry major in the regular army. American Minister Matthew Hanna and Gen Wilder will attend. Will Rogers arrived by plane to inspect the devastated city and plans to fly northward tomorrow.
