Six mobile homes condemned in Riverview Park for health risks
North Lawrence inspectors declared a half dozen trailers at Riverview Trailer Park unfit for habitation. Raw sewage was found discharging onto the ground and large amounts of trash and dangerous items were stored on site. About four families, including children, were displaced as officials prepared search warrants to inspect more units and determine additional code violations. The city and Red Cross were coordinating housing options as Chad Sublet warned of more possible declarations.
