Two Men Charged For Burglary In Lawrence
Kansas City men Alan Lewis and Lawrence W. Phillips face third degree burglary charges in Douglas County after deputies and police found them inside 1109 Delaware Street owner Harry Puckett’s house at 3:36 p.m. Wednesday. Bond set at 1500 dollars each. Phillips released on bond today while Lewis is jailed. A third man, from Kansas City, was questioned and released. Preliminary hearings for Lewis and Phillips are scheduled for Tuesday.

Legislators Agree To Carry Session Past the Weekend

In Olathe Kansas the parents of 3 year old twins Brigette and Michelle abandoned them at the courthouse. The court declared the children wards of the juvenile system and moved them to a foster home.
