Train wreck injures engineer near Laurel
Southbound passenger tram No 1, leaving Laurel about five oclock this morning, wrecked a few miles beyond Halesburg. Engineer Cissna sustained severe injuries including a crushed foot and serious steam burns. The engine turned over after leaving the track as the coupling failed, sending the passenger cars off the rails. No passengers are reported hurt. Traffic from that direction is delayed while wreckage is cleared.
